To Shorts and all my other D/FW compadres,

I live on 50 rural acres 11 miles south of Cleburne, or 12 miles west of Grandview (I-35W). I recently retired, and have been getting my place up to snuff after years of just doing enough to keep it in shape. There are many sites in my immediate area which are for sale, with acreage included. Additionally, when I get my new berm constructed (I've been using a 30 ft. stock tank embankment), I'll make an announcement, and we can plan a shooting get-together out here.

Good luck with your new berm. I don't think it's ever going to dry out enough to do any work out in the fields. :( I'm in Grandview so I'm not far from you.
