On the rifle range, you are correct. If you're one of those that go to the pistol range to shoot a rifle, then offhand shooting is allowed.

Let me get this straight........you can NOT shoot your rifle off-hand on the RIFLE range but you CAN shoot your rifle off-hand on the pistol range?
