Until Trump changes the libel laws then hearsay will still be hearsay.

Though I don't get the need to have people stand behind a line if no-one is going down-range. Could you explain in more detail?

The range crew does the down range. But I/you/we/the patron doesn't have to go down range. Anytime I need to be on the business end of a range is never a good time.
