    Yeah, I have done a ton of research. Buying a Marlin as I said is definitely what I want to do. Seems Marlin has the same sloppy trigger. But I am not worried about any of that anymore because I know it's normal for most of these rifles. If I was able to mount a scope on the Win 94 that I just bought, I would keep it. But as of now, I want the Marlin purely because of the side eject. Just going to wait for a good opportunity to buy.

    Interesting. I was going to mention that my father's Winchester 94 didn't have anything I'd describe as a "loose" trigger...but it was made before 1964. Ah, well. Great rifle, though.

    yup mine is post 64.. seems to be very very common.. almost like every one of them was manufactured that way.
