It's a mini chop saw used a 2" blade
Rolling your own is a good way to go right now since like you said 5.56 is readily available. I think it's good to do, especially for the early on until more 300 BLK ammo & brass comes into circulation. That will bring prices down a little bit too.
I eyeball it, and cut just behind the shoulder. Haven't cut one too short yet.

On the WFT, is there a min/max rpm recommended? I'm just trying to figure out how I'd use it with one hand.
Only reason I have considered paying to get it processed was for the annealing process.
I'm not convinced that annealing adds that much life to the brass.
