You gotta do what you gotta do. I know one day I'll be there as well. And the scope may just add to the over all lookI was making 100 yd+ shots with mine when I got it, so it stayed on. If it was a shorter shot, I may have taken it off. But with my eyes as they are now, no matter how short the shot, its staying on.
Funny you should say that. I have never owned a revolver (basically a 1911 guy) but now that I have the 1894, I'm thinking about a Ruger GP100 Match Champion.If I had that it would get me back into wheel guns for sure.

I've had this one for twenty years! I can say without reservation it's the best holster I've ever owned! I carry my Ruger Birdshead 45 Colt concealed or revealed quite often. Straight draw or cross draw. Well worth the money!
