The tree huggers think those pigs are cute little "Miss Piggy" type animals. I guess the haters don't have to endure the destructive behavior of overpopulated pigs. Still, it would be pretty hard for the antis to see that flick and not get revved up. Gun guys need to be more discrete when they pull a prank like this because it makes all of us look bad.

The trigger man was ineffective and I'm glad I wasn't buying his ammo. Short bursts would have done a better job.

I get the negative sentiment, but...

Have any of you who disapprove ever had to manage ranch land, manage farm land or manage game populations?

Unless you understand the context I don't really think you have any position to talk about it negatively, because frankly, you don't know what you're talking about.

Doesn't matter how many holes in them if they're dead.

That mini gun most likley dug up the ground more than the hogs ever could.

Most likely those hogs were in a pen cooped up and let go for the sport. Not unlike most canned hunts, pidgin shoots, or even high fence hunting that goes on.

That said someone's making a buck off those hogs.

Someone, I think, is going to helicopter mini gun them from the air soon.

I help "manage" the hog population on a 5,000 acre ranch in South Texas. I think you need to consider that someone "spraying and praying" with a machine gun increases the possibility of something less than an ethical/clean kill. I am not talking about filling a pig full of holes; I am talking about the pig that gets hit in the ass, runs off and dies a miserable death. Maybe that's what some of the "naysayers" are thinking too. Bottom line: don't forget about hunting morals and ethics; they are critically important.
