The technique required doesn't seem like such a big deal.
If you find Clint's voice a little irritating (I'm sure someone does), you can skip to 3:30 and watch about three minutes of the video where he talks about proper technique then demonstrates using the 12ga, 2 3/4, 00 buck load.
Having shot mine with 6 different loads this weekend I'll make a point that I feel is a big deal.
This is a unique gun that carries some unique risks.
He makes a statement, in the above video, pretty clearly.
If the un-practiced do what he is doing teeth WILL get shattered.
In the direst extreme, when your life is threatened, shattered teeth will disorient you and get you killed.
I've stored mine in the safe until I get a good bit of experience with it.
This weapon requires experience.
You heard it here first!!!
Most that get sold are because they are trendy and tacti-cool.
Now I know why I've already seen a lot of used ones for sale.
For the bedroom for now the SIG P245 and the Colt Magnum Carry will have to do.
Both have been shot a lot!!
The Shockwave both intrigues and frightens me.
But that's just me.
Your caliber and milage may vary.
