    .22 rimfire? Yes!

    my first love
    my ongoing love

At this point in my career I could own almost any "bigger/better" gun.

I desire to shoot .22 rimfire almost daily.

Today shot my .22 Thompson contender pistol I've had since I was an 80s post-grad student and my newly threaded/suppressed .22mag Ruger 77/22 I bought at the New Braunfels gun show in August.
    Both a joy.

    Shoot.

    Enjoy.

    Good for you and me.

Thanks man! Took it out yesterday. Had a blast shooting it! Wish I bought one sooner.

Sweet 10/22. I bought a longer mag release and it was the same length as the one it came with. I recommend the quiet buffers and changing out the Springs and hammer in the trigger group. You can really make the trigger great. Get plenty of the mags. My 10/22 takedown is one of the coolest guns i own. You'll really like yours too.

Ruger 10-22 rifles are like eating potato chips. Nobody can have just one!
Seriously, they really grow on you!

    Congrats Robert!
Your going to love it. I too bought my first 10/22 earlier this year. After I got it, I started doing some mods to it - warning: after starting yours mods, it's hard to find a stopping point.

Here's mine the day I brought it home.

Here's the same rifle after changing the barrel, stock, and trigger.

    Peace-Out,

Very nice! About to place an order for the Nikon ProStaff 3-9. What can are you running? Any videos shooting with and without the can?
