Definitely need to do the auto-bolt release: volquartsen.com. youtube videos show you how. I had my new 10/22 completely disassembled and modded a week after I bought it. sweet rifle.

BTW, nice 10/22 case from Amazon $20. Nice sling for $13.

Very nice! About to place an order for the Nikon ProStaff 3-9. What can are you running? Any videos shooting with and without the can?

    It's a SilencerCo Sparrow.
No, I don't have any vids of *this* rifle/can but there are lots of vids on YouTube with folks shooting the Sparrow.

    Peace-Out,

Thanks for the info! Mine came with the Ruger bag which I like very much. Will take a look at the auto-bolt release.

    Somewhere here nor there....
Eventually you'll release it from its cocoon and be the beautiful butterfly it deserves to be like the rest of us have. Lol

LOL Well I haven't owned it for a complete week and order the following:

Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40 Rimfire, UTG low rail, UTG 1" medium rings (Might go to a QD set). And all the following from KIDD; Stainless steel magazine latch plunger, Bolt buffer, Auto bolt release, Interchangeable standard & extended magazine releases and, Bolt charging handle assembly with guide rod and spring.

Now I'm waiting on hearing back on the SiCo SPEQ pricing to decide what can I want. Leaning toward the Warlock II due to cost on weight.

And one MagPul releases the Sniper Gray Takedown X22 stock I'll pick that up.

I just bought a couple of the Ruger BX triggers to try out (already have one fully custom 10/22) in my Takedown and another older plinker. Will report back when I've had a chance to shoot them.

Really like everything. Only "compliant" it the extended magazine lever is notched out on the left side to access the bolt catch button. Being a righty I prefer to hold the rifle with my right hands and reach over and manipulate the bolt. Think this is from my shotgun training with my Benelli M4.

Don't know why the second picture isn't being shown.

Went to zero in the 10/22 this week. Didn't have a bore sight so started off rough. Started to get good groupings and getting centered with the reticle when grouping went to shit. Went through maybe 25-35 rounds before I noticed the screws for the rail became loose. LOL Forgot a small screwdriver so ended the day early. Maybe when the wind calms down I'll get back out. Otherwise before the rail became loose I think this will be a nice little plinking tack-driver. Since there is no ETA from MagPul on the gray take down X-22 stock I foresee a trigger upgrade in the future. Still working on the wife for the suppressor. Damn 41F! Now I can't sneak it by her since she is a trustee.

There is 22LR match I'm going to give a try that recommends a bipod. So I took a bipod nipple/stud off my old Rem700 stock, drilled a hole into the factory Ruger stock, and wa-la! Bipod now on the Ruger 10/22!

Thanks! I've had that grenade since I was sub 10y/o. LOL Pretty funny how 25-28 years ago no one cared about it. Now a days it's almost the first thing people see.
