My future inheritance

    I was visiting my dad in So. Cal. and he showed me my future inheritance. A Springfield 1903 w/ a custom stock that my grandfathered carved. Serial number puts it at a 1918 build.

    I like the eagles head carved into the foregrip, very nice looking gun.

    Do the 1903's shoot a .30-03 or the .30-06?

    30-06. They were 30-03 prior to 1906. The 30-06 was created based on the 30-03, but they wanted a pointed tipped bullet. However, my info is based on wikipedia, so don't hold me to it...lol
