You know it, I would have had that Leupold mounted up already if it wasn't for my latest hand bag purchase....

I will give this one a go for a while.

Vortex Viper PST, took mine out to 500 yards no problems, 100-200 is cake all day. Nicest scope I have ever shot with.

You could do a Vortex Strike Eagle as well if you need 6x power.

I've been shopping for binoculars. Went to Grainger and tried every bino on display. Adjusted every doppler.

Vortex, imo had the best glass out of all of them. That includes stuff that ran $300 more. Needless to say I was impressed being a weaver/nikon fan.

If you have $500 to spend on binos, Mavenbuilt.com is probably a good choice.

So much personal preference since there are so many great optics .

My ACOG on my 14.5" M4 SBR is just fantastic.
It's a choice of our fighters for a reason.
Solid, clear, just enough magnification to hit anything torso-size out to 3-400 meters.
    If
    i had to choose 1 for life.....ACOG.

My Trijicon TR22 2.5-10x is a .75 MOA shooter on a heavy stainless barrel with match ammo.
Crazy bright 30mm tube Accupoints are great.
I like the extra reach. More than 10x just makes me aware of how I'm un-steady way out at 20x. No need.

My old beat-up butt-ugly Comp-M4 I think I could run over with my truck and it'd be fine. Just a thought for the fast-aquisition crowd. Darn AA batteries last only 4 years each if I forget to turn it off.

You are making me want to look again at the 1-4x the next time I see one. I'm reading great reviews.

I had and sold a Leopold Mark 4 CQ/T 1-3x and just wasn't to my liking for no rational reason.

    All "best" in their way.

    Nice to have choices?

I just got my ACOG back from factory service.
Was a bit of an oldie with the common hairline cracks making the little fiberoptic rod look bad. Worked OK but looked real bad.

Fixed free. Great service from a huge company so am impressed.
The thing of so clear and bright.
I trust our military to be buying them for a reason.
I don't have the other but I like the ACOG.

I have a Leupold AR VX-3 with firedot and love it. Great scope, good clarity, and the firedot makes it work at night.

I picked up one of these Sightmark halo sights not long ago and it's pretty darn good for the price.

    What's your battery life like?

Also, what setting do you have it on now. That's too bright for me.

I would just go for a compact eotech night vision model and get the little folding magnification if you need magnification.
