WLP didn't hold on to his position without lots of support within the NRA. They either believe him, or they are also corrupt.
DUH, absolutely brilliant.

Are you talking about the board or the general membership? I believe -WLP didn't hold on to his position without lots of support within the NRA. They either believe him, or they are also corrupt.
But it was the NRA that rolled over and quity on bump stocks firstNotice who successfully litigated the bump stock case recently.
Wasn’t the NRA.

I've been donating to the SAF regularly, but I should send the GOA some monies, too.Notice who successfully litigated the bump stock case recently.
Wasn’t the NRA.
Which is a logical reason to refuse to support them.Only because the WLP inner circle has sufficient control over the nomination and election processes that it's impossible, in practical terms, to elect sufficient reformers to the board.
ThisNRA member since 1976, and life member and then benefactor since 1994...
Not another cent will I donate to NRA until Wayne is gone and I see some reform.
NRA, nor really any other gun rights organization, save maybe the people as unorganized militia, is going to save us from the coming infringements, anyway.
Though I don't think we should abandon them all, it was really a willingness not to comply with a gun ban and confiscation that sparked 'the shot heard round the world'.
Are you talking about the board or the general membership? I believe -
Given the way the board is nominated, elected, and retained, I don't see any way to change the makeup of the board until WLP is gone.
- the board consists of
- the incompetent,
- the oblivious,
- the friends of Wayne, and
- one or two real reformers, and
- the general membership is neither corrupt nor supportive of WLP.
Come on man....., the membership or the board? The board is the real problem.
