$140, I believe. And it's not "right down the road" but it's not far. And not indoors. And no gun store. And no cafe, so no lattes. And no couches. And regular folks with regular guns who can actually hit targets consistently.

Well I live in Austin and work in Houston during the week. If its within 150 miles its "just down the road" in my mind. ;)

EDIT: Does ARC still require range cleanup days from members? I always thought about joining but thats difficult given my schedule.

They don't require, but it's encouraged. I've made one... the others have been on days I work.

    Wow...
the owner seems to have made a HUGE miscalculation as to how many other rich people in Austin care about guns.

I'm betting 90% of the people that can afford his range in Austin would vote to ban it.

I spoke to the guy about this at the firearms festival, apparently that price is for access to the special private area (like some form of country club). They'll have more standard prices for the majority of the range.

Seems a little silly to only advertise the $7k rates at first but apparently they've had some interest (although I've no idea if that aquaits to someone actually stumping up the cash)

The membership prices are pretty much the same as Athena in Houston. If they're using Athena as the model, I'd guess the hourly rates will be about $20. But I can't imagine having enough time to make the cost of a membership worthwhile.
