I was at the Mesquite Gun Show Sunday morning. I met a friend of mine there. He had a Glock G21SF he wanted to try to sell. I had no intention of buying anything, just looking.
Well, that changed when I found three dealers who had new FDE Vickers Gen 3 G17s. After some back an forth negotiations with one fellow, he ended up selling me his new Vickers 17 for $500 + tax. ( $541 out the door )

Up until Sunday morning I had never heard of a Vickers Glock. I have since read it is a joint production pistol between Glock, Lipseys, and Larry Vickers. Two thousand FDE G17 were made this year.
I see the Vickers G17 has a different grip texture than my Gen 3 G19. There is a package of magazine caps and a frame plug included in the factory box.
Are there any other factors that make a Vickers Glock different than a stand Gen 3 G17?

I bought it because I liked the way it felt in my hand and the color.
I liked the final price also.
It was one of those "do I need it? NO. Do I want it? YES. moments!

I didn't ask for a critique of my price negotiation.
I asked for information concerning differences in a standard Gen 3 G17 and a Vickers Gen 3 G17.
I don't mean to be blunt. I just want information about the product.

    Thanks.
This is why I seldom visit this site.
Maybe you need to go back to where ever you came from.

I congratulated you on the purchase price (was being serious). Not once did you ask others for information about the product in your original post.

Only difference is they have the RTF2 (RoughTextureFrame) Vickers mag base plates, Vickers slide lock/release and Vickers mag release plus Ameriglo sights.

I seem to remember this from the initial post.
