Pure coincidence, this week's ad focuses on baseball as Spring training has started.
Plus, one instance does not a trend make. Wait until next week to see if there are any guns in the ad. If not, then you'll have a valid point...
yeah, sameThere were firearms in the printed version of the flyer I received in the paper yesterday.
Makes me wonder if Academy has plans to hide the scary black guns again, didn't take much the last time.
It's been a couple weeks since I last visited Academy and I hadn't heard anything, but as fast as they caved the last time, I wouldn't be surprised if some snowflake faints at the sight of them and down they come.Went in yesterday to see myself and no. Actually messed around with and ARX. There were also 2 separate ads on the counter full of guns, didn't catch the date so I suppose they could have been old, but there were a lot of them
They take them off the website after every major shooting.. its a PR thing. They dont want articles written with their ads cut and pasted into them. Its happened the last 3 times. I always check.
The husband stopped by the gun counter and told them that it was a good thing that they were still up so he wouldn’t have to razz them like last time (Pulse).Makes me wonder if Academy has plans to hide the scary black guns again, didn't take much the last time.
They have always had them online, it's the weekly ad (https://www.academy.com/shop/store/WeeklyAd) that they seemed to be missing from...

I was responding to accordingtomme's post about them taking them down online as well.
