Only been stopped once since I've been carrying, but if anything the LTC made the deputy more at ease. Family of five traveling in East Texas with a gun? Probably doesn't raise any eyebrows anyway though
Since getting my CHL, I have been let off every time but once.Only gotten pulled over once since I have my LTC. Handed over insurance and both licenses, he asked if I had any weapons on me, I said sure, on my belt, and the rest of the traffic stop went like any other time. I get my ticket, I'm on my way, I click through six hours of stupid videos, I get my ticket dismissed.
Ditto.Since getting my CHL, I have been let off every time but once.
My experience as well. The officer immediately relaxes upon knowing I have a CHL.
OP: if you have a gun in the glovebox and need to reach there to get your insurance copy,
move your insurance and gun to different places
.
But not during the stop.Fixed that for you
Fixed that for you
You get pulled over a lot oldag? LoLI have been let off every time but once.
Dad? Is that you? I haven't heard the phrase cubbyhole in a loooong time.Right? I forgot what the reason for it was, but the other day I stuffed my gun into the cubby hole under the center arm rest where the insurance card is, and a few minutes later when I saw a cop behind me, the prospective scenario played out in my head. Not gonna do that again. Or I could just drive in a way where I don't get pulled over, ever. Meh, eff that, got places to see and people to go. No time to wait around for slowpokes.
