    Gunz are icky.
    Got some time to waste.
Guess I'll go over to Academy and look at the empty ammo shelf.

    Shite. Fire. Hell. and Dayyum.
    Academy actually had some ammo!
    So........Less talking. More shooting!
    Felt kinda Kel-Tec-key today.

Wasn't asking if there is one, I was curious about his reasoning for a .44 Special over a Magnum.

Alright so you got me thinking a bit more about this.

I watched this video on a guy working up a Skeeter Skelton style load to push a 250 gr bullet ~950 fps out of a 3" snubby. He had to use a .44 Magnum Case to do it.

https://thereloadersnetwork.com/201...The “Skeeter Load”, which,29 at about 950 fps.

Since I've been wanting to replicate some of the Keith and Skelton loads, it seems a .44 Magnum may make more sense since I can download a .44 Magnum easier than uploading a .44 Special.

Guess that puts me back at the 2.75" Model 69. :)

That's why I said, for most. Since the .44 Magnum can shoot .44 Special it's a more versatile gun. That's why I was wondering.

Actually, I had given some thought to that GP100, but if really didn't offer any advantages over the pistols I already have.

If I were to buy a GP100, it will more than likely be the 357 with a 6" barrel.

Because it's like software, it can sense deadlines and urgency.

    Morning earthlings. My Friday.

It's a good thing it's a bad time to buy a gun. Got my eyes on a Ruger GP100 in .44 Special.
Late to the party. Evil Bob (OIF2) let me test drive a S&W in .44 special. Fantastic gun, but I ended up getting a Vaquero and a model 29 in .44 mag. They are just more versatile. .44 special is a joy to shoot though. Ammo is very pricey for sure. I just download .44 mags. If I ever had to go to the range with one handful of cartridges and one handgun, it would be my M29.
