Good morning. It is a good one. Husband goes in to complete paperwork on a new job today. It’s one that pays $6 an hour less than the one he had before COVID layoffs, but it had the teachers retirement aspect and there is no commute. So we will make it work since it has the teacher’s retirement aspect, there will be no “this will work for now,” aspect. We will try to make this work permanently.

Which means I’ll have to try to make more side job money permanently to make up that difference ($1000/ month), plus what we have lost the past year (don’t want to think about that). sigh. Thanks COVID (China) and gov Abbott.
But truly, I AM thankful for this job for my family.

Tell the hubby congrats for me.

I realize the judgment that comes with tattoos, so I post this somewhat reluctantly (with my flame suit on!), but I treated myself to some fresh ink in November after 6 months of waiting for an appointment. 15 hours under the tattoo gun in 2 days wasn't a ton of fun but we got it done, my next 2 days are booked for the end of February, I look forward to the grind.
