So when the moving crew showed up to pack us out, they brought 3 strapping young men who worked really hard and fast. The load out crew showed up today with 2 guys who move slower than 90 wt gear oil on a cold morning. Loadout was supposed to take about 3 hours. We are 2 hours and 45 minutes in and they’re not even half done yet.

I've always hated moving! But .......... there is a 99% chance that I will never need to move again.

So after I posted that, the crew leader came up to me and asked if I had seen his helper. I guess he decided this job was too hard and left without saying anything to anybody. Now we have the crew from 2 days ago back here again helping the last mover of today’s crew. 5 of them can really empty a house pretty quickly.

About a month ago, I found out a guy and his wife who live down the street from me host a lot of charity ruck marches to raise money for different occasions. They had one of the bigger ruck marches I'm aware of a week or two ago. Yesterday, a ton of boxes went to the curb from a recent shopping spree. Things like a 68' TV, Dewalt table saw, surround sound, furniture, etc....

Things that make you go hmmmm.......


Maybe he's just converting the garage into an HQ for the charity *fingers crossed*.
