Not into comics or the freaks myself.
I volunteered in a comic book store owned by my best friend when I was in my early 20s.

I won't bore anyone with lengthy stories but the comics were fun, the freaks were abundant, the visiting artists always went insane when I hit on their girlfriends, and the owner's daughter, her best friend, and I got along very well.

    Good times.

We always welcome your "boring" stories.

In my 30's and 40's I collected baseball cards along with my son. Although I sold a few for good money, I spent a lot of money on all the cards I had, plus they took up a lot of space. Some of the card shows I went to were much like Comicon. I finally got tired of all the room they took up and gave them all to my son.
