What is the deal with all the plastic guns??

    I just dont get it.

Low maintenance, lighter weight if you're toting it around 10-12 hours a day...yeah the extra weight does make a big difference, can make up weight difference carrying more ammo? To each his own tho, just some reasons why one might opt for a plastic gun. Same reason I guess one might tote around a plasticky AR type rifle vs an M1 Garand?

I used to say the same thing years ago when I started seeing people buying Glocks, that is until I bought one.

Yepper, I still PREFER all steel and yes it sure isn't a sexy looking gun, but will always have a Glock 19 and 17 on hand

Are there alot of pistols that don't meet this criteria, lol?
This can get a bit heavy carrying around I would imagine.

Another vote for the Glock 19.
It's moderately concealable, accurate, the trigger can be fixed and mags hold 15 Rounds. Add a spare or two and you should be able to solve most problems of a social nature. Those you can't probably need a LOT more firepower.

Besides the one shown above I wouldn't say a lot.

S&W puts sling mounts on some of their big revolvers.

The Desert Eagle, BFR, and others come to mind too.
Don't forget the bolt-action single shots. I have more of those than I can carry.

.308 Win, .358 Win, 7X47, etc. - Now, those are some do-it-all pistol cartridges. :)
