I guess it's a good thing that I have lots of 22lr pistols and rifles. If finances are tight once you have a few boxes of each caliber load up on 22lr.
If the time to evacuate comes you can carry a whole lot more 22 ammo for the same weight and volume as anything else.
If there is a shortage you will be able to keep shooting through it and resupply the bigger calibers after.
Although I had a couple thousand rounds of .22lr, I bought some of that during Black Friday also.I guess it's a good thing that I have lots of 22lr pistols and rifles.
Heheh....again....Although I had a couple thousand rounds of .22lr.....
How many 50 cal ammo cans is 2,000 rounds of 22lr?Although I had a couple thousand rounds of .22lr, I bought some of that during Black Friday also.

Panic Buyer!
That can has all the individually wrapped 50 and 100 round boxes. I have a 30 cal ammo can that is almost full of loose rounds. I’m not counting that one. I will say that it weighs more than the 50 cal can.Imagine how many would fit if they were in quart baggies, instead of cardboard boxes.
Panic buyer!
I would suggest keeping an eye on Gunbroker, could save you hundreds.I might get some more just because I have been eyeballing one of those Ruger Precision Rifles.
Don't forget 7.62x51 for when you have to reach out and f someone up.Ive consolidated to 9mm, 223/556, and 12ga. Those are the only rounds I stockpile currently. I will probably start building up a bunch of 300 prc but I dont currently have a long rifle. All the other calibers I just keep some around for shooting every mow and then.
The fact that flamethrowers exist is proof that someone thought “I want to set those people on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done”.
