    I've worked in IT and telecommunications for a long time. The first thing I thought of when I heard about the ATT outage was someone screwed up during an upgrade. I've seen it happen many times. Hell, done it myself :laughing:

    The same day I saw a friend of mine posting pictures of massive sun spots. Those are probably what disrupted Star Link that day.

    The pharmacy thing looks to be a ransomware situation, not really a cyber attack. It probably wasn't planned for that day. Some idiot with high level access likely opened an email attachment they shouldn't have. That or it was an inside job.

    I never believe official narratives either, but it's pretty simple conclusions in this case. I think the problem is more indicative of the general decline of professional pride, lack of attention to infrastructure, and unnecessary dependence on technology.
