This meat substitute crap has like 100 ingredients. Beef has one. All I need to know. And why is it non-meat eaters want their stuff to taste like…meat?

I am absolutely certain that beef is not a mono-material, which is why it has certain health benefits and certain health detractions. Saying beef has just one ingredient is like saying Impossible meat has just one ingredient. Both are composed of a lot of other things.

I am not a fan of the fake beef at all. It may not be beef, but it seems no more healthy (maybe worse) than real beef.

And what is a canola, that some factories get canola oil from?

Canola oil comes from the seeds of the rapeseed or canola plant, Brassica napus.
