The big question is which American can get a majority of the votes. If the R's control the process so we get another McCain or Dole, then we'll get another 4 years of Obama and his friends. In the general election, Trump, Palin, Bachman, Paul, and several others beat Obama. In the primary, we'll have to see. Gingrich loses, Huckabee loses, Romney loses...

Repugs must break this mold of nominating someone just because it's their "turn". They must break the mold of nominating someone "fatherly". You can bet it will probably be Romney and Huckabee because it's their turn.

Like it or not, it's a popularity contest. One must be able to fire up the troops, Rahhh Rahhh stuff, pack the house, never mind the "message". Just say it loud, often, and look pretty.

It's exactly how we got that graduate of the Community Organ Grinder school.

The Republicans aren't showing too much in the way of any candidate worth the time and effort to vote for. IF they happen to even consider either one of these two, I'd vote for Palin but NOT Trump. Unless the RNC pulls its head out of its ass, we're going to see another 4 years of Obastard...and this country can't afford that mess.

Hell, vote for Palin for president....just to piss off Hillary.....

Makes me wonder if Hillary Clinton would decide to run against Obama for the Democrat ticket, and then invite her great love, the United Nations, to send observers to the U.S. to *wink, wink* monitor the election to make sure it was fair. I put nothing beyond that bitch and her "husband."

The repubs simply haven't put anybody forward yet that is worthy of running. Poor Gingrich is gonna burn down fast. I also read today that Huckabob has decided not to run.

Still a long way to go till the election in 2012, so there's plenty of time for a Dark Horse candidate to appear. Heck, Carter, Clinton, and Obama were all Dark Horse candidates. Wait a second...what am I saying...they were all Democrats! Boy are we in some deep horse caca now....

Gald the Huckster gave it up. I have no problem with his faith side however he is a progressive. He raised taxes, wanted amnesty and when he left office he destroyed all the hard drives in all the computers. He left no records, and it cost $333k to replace those. That along with his poor record lenency of prisioners, remember the guy that killed the 4 Seattle cops? Must be something in the water there in Hope, Ak..

Unless... 4 more years of the Obama clan...

Regardless of who runs in the R primary and how it turns out... the winner MUST be capable of receiving more votes than the Democrat candidate.

Those are the simple facts. There must be someone running that can pull more votes than the Democrats pull.

If the Rs manipulate the process to a Gingrich or Romney, enough folks will stay home to give us 4 more years of "O"
