Grateful the almost inch of rain we got. Would not complain a bit if more fell.

I just realized that I'd forgotten how to act when we get rain.
We just received 3.5" in about 1.5 hours. Water on front lawn is 2" deep.
Our big trees are drinking it up.
It's still raining, but @ a reduced rate. Praise be. I love it.

Called for rain in my area today. Started getting some dark clouds so I had to get the back mowed before the rain hit.
Got 1/2 way finished and lo and behold, the clouds moved away and the sun reappeared. The temp was 90 degrees and 56% humidity. I was so wet with sweat it looked like I took a shower with my clothes on.

Lawn now 4" deep, though only up to 3.9" rain (still falling).
Chickens are going to roost in the willow trees.
