Private Party Sale Questions

I'm new to Texas (DFW area) and I been reading the private party sale of firearms and I had a couple questions about it:

1. Is it more common practice that firearms are sold through private sales done face to face or by FFL?

2. Is there a limit on how many handguns and/or long guns can be sold per year?

1. You’re the seller, you set the rules. There is no way to collect data. I’ve done more private transaction than 4473s.

2. No state limits, but dealing is dealing from a fed perspective.

In a private party situation, more sales are done face to face, than through an FFL, I would have to imagine, as there is no requirement.

As far as quantities, what Todd said.
