Warm my ass,It was freaking HOT.
Yes,the food was really good, and we did have a great time shooting, and visiting!
My 5 year old makes a mean "salad" as she calls it with tomatoes (that they grew), mozzarella, black olives and a splash of greek dressing. I love that she is always in the kitchen learning, knowledge not shared is lost. View attachment 215886

So it’s been a while since I visited this thread. We all gonna have to up our game. JC, you are killing it.
On another note, We’ve only eaten out 2 times since March. We’ve become better cooks with all this crap. Not a bad thing.
I like eating & I like my cooking. The wife is very limited as to what she can cook. The more my back bothers me the less cooking I can do.
I credit watching Julia Childs & Jucques Pepin with about 75% of what I know. I loke trying to duplicate things without a recipe. That's me! I like to eat, so learning how to cook just sort of came along with it. Plus I learned quite a bit about cooking from my grandmother and my stepmother.
While I enjoy cooking, I especially enjoy the prep phase of getting all the ingredients together and cut-up so they’re “just right”.
Just seeing all the ingredients organized and ready to go is cathartic.
Mrs Pronstar thinks that’s weird LOL
