Did you upgrade to a larger battery?

    W

No, just a replacement. The issues with the first were my fault. The batteries should be removed from the plane after flying and charged in a reasonable amount of time. I left it in and it drained below minimum voltage. Big no-no for Li-Po batteries.

The negro even told you to take off into the wind. Damn

Hadn't had it on the air in 6 months, was trying not to make my first take off towards a group of unsuspecting people. Didn't even have Jackashh around to hand the controller to.

This is all we ever had. They didn't work that great. But they were cheap. Probably about 25 cents.

Remote comes with the plane as long as it's the RTF kit.

Some easy repairs from tree limb and fence damage. Probably no necessary.

And a battle scar from the run in with the power line. Also when the nose cone was lost.

I love model planes. I built a Sig Kadet back in the late '70s and a Heathkit radio. I used about 15 pounds of glue and dope on the plane, so it never flew. And the radio never quite worked right. But I built a bunch after that with more success. I haven't been in the hobby for years, but I'm going to get my daughter one of the e-flight radians for her birthday in a couple weeks, whether she wants one or not. That Delta Ray looks cool. I may have to find an excuse to get one.

I'm hoping to get some more people around town involved. There is a club but I've heard mixed opinions about them. Heard they are a little cliquish. The owner of the Hobby shop recommended a group that flies in Valley mills but I have trouble working that in to my schedule. Would like to go just to see his son fly out there though.

My daughter (6) is always asking to fly mine. With the trainer setting its no issue getting it in the air and letting her play around.

Scott Blose (father of Todd Blose <model plane badass>) highly recommended the Delta as the best starter and said it had become one of his favorites to fly.
