RC Plane thread!!!

    Plane flew great. Launched power off with a 2200 because I’m a chicken and it sailed away.

    I had it slightly nose heavy and pushed in to a heavy stall (full up elevator) it started to spin. Nosed it down and flew out within one turn. I had to really try to stall it, almost to a standstill.


    Ran the motor for 4 minutes including stall testing and a few passes and rolls then just went up a couple hundred feet and killed throttle. Total flight was 13 minutes and landed with a little over 40% on the battery. Landed in launch mode and just let it slide in.


    It’s gonna be one that goes with me pretty often. Not sure if it will glide as well with the blunt camera nose. Also packs back in to the box really easy. Only downside is the foam is 2 sided and pieces go on each side. I had no problem just putting my hand on one side to keep the cardboard in place when flipping it. Takes less than 5 minutes to assemble while chatting.

    Just about got my Cub repairs done so went back to the bench to start planning the aileron mod for the Sig Senior.
