I will say that True Grit was pretty good.

Erm... there were two girls in the original.

The first one was set in Colorado. This one was filmed in Michigan, and I think is set in the Detroit area. Detroit area really is pretty mixed race, so that would actually be accurate.

The new True Grit was horrible. They killed a John Wayne classic. I wouldn't doubt they are going to slaughter this one as well.

that probably made it easier for the prop/set crews!! as Detroit ALREADY looks like a War Zone!! Oh and THANK a LIBSH-T for that!!!

What did you dislike about it? I thought it was really well done.

look at the new one's cast pic. there are 3 females. unless i have some ery strange new feelings i need to workout...

old = 2 girls new =3 girls differance = 1 girl
new = old + one girl 2 guys
total old 7 total new 9

I'm looking forward to the update. I think using the Chinese in the new one is very appropriate. I just hope they keep in the bit where they say getting the form 4473s from the local sporting goods stores will help them find armed troublemakers.
