I could be mis-quoting =)Wow. Now I'm curious how they going to get metal inside that barrel. 308 to 264?
So I called a couple of the more popular gun stores locally and got a quote for labor of $500 to $800. If I put there names here you would instantly recognize them in the SA area. I took it to Precision Rifle Works in New Braunfels and they are doing it for between $80 and $300.
I am replacing the barrel from a hunter profile to a bull barrel in the same Caliber. Talking to the guys at Precision they could re-caliber the barrel too if I wanted to go from .308 to 6.5 Creedmore. I didn't explore this but it was interesting that it was a service.
Do what?I would like to know how they are going to do that?????
Do what?
Fire a whole bunch of round nose lead ammo.reduce an already drilled hole from 308 to 264.
Do what?
