Saw this on the wall at a local shop.. just had to add one to the collection. Came with a very stabby bayonet and a box of mags. Plan to put some more lead down the barrel in the next couple of hours. :)

Gorgeous. I had an AirSoft replica of this model when I lived in Japan as a teen. Loved that thing. I’m jealous!!

Nice PTR, is that brake pinned?
It's actually an FMP / IND gun from Portugal, imported by CAI. I've tried to get them to look up the SN (it's a low #) to see when it was brought in and if it's CETME parts and FMP lower or a complete FMP gun. No answer from the records department; it's been 3 weeks. G-3.9457.png
I'm not sure about the brake, but I think it might be pinned on. :/

I see. It looks like an FMP receiver parts build. The cocking handle is

I see. It looks like an FMP receiver parts build. The cocking handle is CAI, buttstock and handguard look like PTR. The internals have to be from a 91, not a CETME. They don't interchange. I bet they used the U.S parts for 922 because it's built on a Portuguese receiver.

CAI got several of these receivers(I had one at one time). There were a lot of builds done on them because they're good receivers. The internals are probably HK or FMP I'm guessing. I would pull the bolt and check...let know if you need some pointers on how to assemble bolt back or to reinstall back in gun, many people have an issue with this at first. I wonder if the barrel is marked near the trunnion, this will tell a bit too.

Thx for the details! I did strip it down to looks for marks on barrel near trunnion, nothing I can find. Internals are mis-matched #'s so that also makes me think parts gun.
