Picked this up a couple of days ago, going to my dad for father's day.

Marlin 336 .30/30 made in 1966

Finished chambering it last night. Took it out today. The 5th barrel on this action. None of the previous have rounds through them over 300 rounds. This one is an 18 inch Proof Research CF wrapped 10 T 30 caliber that I chambered with my modified A191 300WM reamer.

Started off as a ScoutSquad, removed the scout mount and synthetic furniture. Bought a surplus m14 stock that was pretty nasty. Steamed the dents and refinished it.

Recently moved to TX and just bought my first firearm since I moved. Colt SP1 with original Colt 3x scope on the left. It is a 1980 rifle. The one on the right is a 1977 Colt SP1 that I already had.

Just finished a 7-08 and a 6.5prc.
7-08 22" 10 twist, rifle length gas system, light weight barre, .750 gas block, sig 1-10×28

6.5prc, 22", 8 twist, +2 gas system, hbar, .875 gas block, Athlon 1-10x28

Probably going to make a few changes, but I'll wait until test firing is done.

His FAL (from Belgium or South Afrika) looks just like my Imbel FAL except for the paint.

Where is the best ola e to look for a good used Rhodesian/South African fal these days?
