I have a GP100. Love it. Sturdily-built, decently accurate, and both DA and SA shooting are pleasant. If I ever need to pistol-whip someone, the GP100 is first in line...

I bought my first Ruger revolver in 1973. It was the old blue Security-Six in .357 Magnum. Since then, I've owned (at various times) Blackhawks, Super Blackhawks, and a GP100. Last weekend my friend Justin let me shoot his Alaskan in .45/.454 Casull. WOW!

While I currently own Smith & Wesson revolvers, I have never seen a more durable revolver than those made by Ruger. I highly recommend them to folks in the market for a dependable, strong handgun.

For that you need an N frame Smith. Top left, M28-2. Middle right M29-2

I love Rugers!! I bought a Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt/45acp convertible and was looking for some hunting loads in 45Colt. Numerous times I would come across loads that were loaded hot and the tag on the box would say, " For Ruger revolvers only". Now I am sure that a gun like Freedom Arms would handle the load also but you have to look at the price of a Fredom Arms revolver too:eek:. I am not rich!
For MY money, Rugers are the strongest revolvers on the market:D.

    Texas of course
I love Ruger revolvers too. As stated before they truly are built like tanks. I only own one revolver but after doing some research on what to get I decided on the 3" GP100. I've been very please with my decision.

I am pretty fond of my Ruger 357 Maximum. Its a great gun for blasting and seems pretty well built.

I think this site has a policyagainst sexually explicit material. This picture is just way too sexy for a guy like me. I may have to file a formal complaint!;)

My Max was sitting in Collector's and when I saw it I just had to buy the beast. I always wanted a 357 Maximum and it has been a hoot to shoot.

I find the Ruger SBH grips hard to shoot well. Very different then the magna's I am used to, but the gun itself is exceptionally accurate.

I think it's funny what people have done to the .357 and .38 cartridges over the years. They keep getting longer, and more powerful haha. Soon we will see .357 Ultra.

Ruger make wonderful revolvers. I have 5 single actions. 357 NM Blackhawk 7.5", 45colt Vaquero 4 5/8" (fun little gun), Accusport Bisley Blawkhawk SS convertible 5.5" 45colt/45acp, Accusport Bisley Blackhawk SS 45colt, and my latest Blackhawk an old model 3 screw in, what else 45colt with the rare 4 5/8" barrel.
Yes, I am quite fond of the 45colt or long colt. It is THE single action caliber; old, versatile, powerful.
The 44mag is weak in comparison. Nothing hits like 350grains of lead, zipping along a supersonic speeds. Let's go shoot some.
