Ruger's BX 25 drop in trigger

    It seemed unnatural to me in use. But I'm glad I tried it. Using the extended mag release gave me the action I wanted--grip mag with fingers of left hand while the left thumb works the release.

    I wasted a bunch of ammo today after I installed the new BX25 trigger that came in this mornings mail

    Really good trigger compared to OEM

    I also took my FAT wrench and experimented with various torque settings on the takedown screw


    Conditions were 12 mph diagonal winds left to right ,
    Distance 30 yards
    The best groups were at 30 IP of torque
    The CCI Mini Mags and the Brownings gave the best groups
    I also made a scope windage adjustment, that that is why the POI shifted to the left
