That .454 was fun. I believe he was shooting both. He let me shoot it loaded with .454. Damn accurate to say the least. I had a blast today. The rain worked out in our favor. There was only one other small group who stayed for 45 minutes. We had the place to ourselves.
I'll try to beat you to it. I had so much fun shooting, I didn't do much with my camera, but here goes. A general picture of the lovely conditions. I wanted to get some pics of the bullets splashing in the water downrange, but my timing wasn't right:
fgarcia with his hand cannon hidden because it is too scary to share (besides, I like his pipe.)
Rsty with a hoodie. I figured he'd go gangsta style:
If you drop your glock in a mud puddle, just put a little frog lube on it and keep shooting. Proof positive

It was a hoot. Sorry more of you couldn't make it.
My Glock is basically ran dry. I dropped it in the mud on "accident". It would fire the first round and then not go into battery. Put some Froglube in the trigger group on the back side of the striker channel and viola it worked like new.
First off I had a blast especially after the rain calmed down, many thanks to everyone who let me shoot your guns that's always the best part. I'm going to upload some video I took (nothing special) an post them but here's all the pictures for now.

Isn't that how you're supposed to clean a Glock though, Marcus? Leave it out in the rain to wash it, then dunk it in a bucket of oil. Done deal. LOL Sorry I missed this. Looks like it was a good turnout.

What TXDARKHORSE didn't say was how much he let us shoot his AR's at the 100 yard steel targets. It was loads of fun and I sure learned a lot. Going to a range day, you get to shoot a lot of different guns, talk to the people who own them and start figuring out what you like and what you don't like. Being relatively new to range shooting, and the first time with a group, it was an eye opening experience.
The only problem is that when you get home, you start drooling about what to add to your collection.
