The guy who started SCCY used to work at Keltec. Joe Roebuck I think is his name.

I do wonder how he got away with ripping off the Keltec P11. Design patents or whatever expired? KT did discontinue the P11 a few years ago.

There used to be a story on it online how and why he left and started SCCY. I bought mine after reading it.

It’s just my guess, but I’ll bet their departure was mutually beneficial and amicable. They’re probably paying a licensing fee or bought the old trigger mechanism from the P 11 and the P 32 the newer smoother P9F and 3AT triggers still remain with Kel-Tec. Kel-Tec got out of the $299 retail business, and SCCYstepped in to fill that void.
