When I was a kid I don't think there was any plastic slides, all the parks had metal.I grew up in Arizona, with metal slides... Those were some sick bastards too.

Yep, all metal in my youth also. When I was a kid I don't think there was any plastic slides, all the parks had metal.
I never saw anybody do that. Probably would have taken their lunch money if I did. But, when you take a roll of waxed paper with you to the park, tear off a square and sit on it before going down, it kinda makes it worth it.

1000°, legs screeching while catching on fire, metal slides.
Still as in still trying to bump out the TaT preview of my deleted picture like the post above it. Just to clarify my post.Steel
We had dirt slides and we're damn happy with em.
Yes, I've done it. The heat from the flame causes the metal parts at the top to pop right off after less than a minute. One way or another, you get no more flame.Ever held a Bic lighter longer then...say 30 seconds? Try it.
Very rare, usually a hoax.Don't forget razor blades in Halloween candy.
Me too!I'm in.
