    Hello All,
Have a nice old SKS I would like to remove the bayo
and replace with a bipod-leaves mount intact. Will I run into
    trouble with law.

    Thanks, Dave

According to 922r, as I see, a bayonet may or may not fall under the "muzzle attachment"

check some sks boards, or forums, I took mine off but also put on tapco stock and everything to make it 922r compliant
