    For the love of Christ! If you absolutely have to kill a snake just use a shovel. More accurate, more humane, and you do not have to worry about ricochets.

    Not reason to believe it's more accurate. If you can't hit with a shot shell of any type at shovel range, you need some practice, lol.

    And just to aggravate, the snake I killed last Friday with Remington #6 high brass 20ga at 3' was a rat snake, non venomous.


    Stupid snake.

    Yeah I always keep a pack of mongooses with me in case I see a snake. Much more natural. The hell with all that horsefuckery

    I reloaded some .38 rounds using the Speer capsules and 7 shot from some old 20g shells. The real trick is the crimp. Enogh crimp to make sure other rounds in the revolver cylinder do not back out when fired but too much crimp will crack the plastic. Took a few rounds to get it right.
