Just curious, can you post the source of that information? I don't disagree, and there have been articles posted about his numerous vacations; but considering all the BS posted by some people when it comes to Obama, I would like to be able to provide a reference if I decide to pass this along.

Not that I like the guy, I don't and I can't wait until he and his "crew" are out the door; but I have found some extremists are making up information in an attempt to discredit Obama. He has enough real evidence that can do that, so it doesn't help to lie about other things...

Nevermind, I think I found the source; but to be honest I am not sure if I could consider "The Patriot Resistance" as a credible source!

Bush spent 487 days at Camp David and 490 days at his ranch. That's 977 days in eight years, making him the most vacationing President in U.S. history.

    Just saying.

Actually Bush spent 69 days of his first year in Presidency on vacation to Obama's 26.

Edit to add: Jimmy Carter took only 79 days in four years.

Yeah but at least Bush contributed good things and ran the country/economy well for 6 of 8 yrs. heck Carter and Obummer combined wouldnt even add up to enough positive decisions that were good for our country in both of their presidencies!!

I'm tired of all of the Bush bashing. Pres Bush actually "worked" from the ranch which was a good idea. Less distractions. Obummer doesn't work have the time he's at the actual capital in Washington. And O'dumbass wouldn't know what to do with himself at a ranch.

The things Obama is doing, he's/they are doing on purpose to wreck this country and make it a socialist country. Once they have enough people depending on the government and enough people starving and homeless, they'll be in a position to go to the extreme they really want to. I'm hopeful about the November elections but I have the sneaky feeling that this might be the end. The good news is that if it's the end, it's the beginning as well, for believers in Jesus. He's coming back to kick some major devil butt. Be on the correct side.

This is true. Our business really started doing well after Bush was elected. In the last 18 months we've gone through most of our savings that we built up during the previous 8 years. I hope the voters remember their history lessons in November. People have such short memories and that's what the left (the dems) are counting on and exploiting.

Yeah, I noticed that jackass Biden already trying to convince people that the Dumocrats are going to do well in November, despite everything to the contrary. It is a pure deception campaign, and some will actually be stupid enough to fall for it! I hope the Dumocrats get their asses handed to them during the election; the only problem is the Republicans aren't earning much respect or confidence either and if they do take over the majority in the House and Senate, I hope they capitalize on the opportunity and get things done instead of hosing things up even more. Their track record isn’t that much better than the Dumocrats, but at least it is still better…

Exactly how was the Iraq war and handling of Hurricane Katrina good decisions for our country?

I'm not here to bash Bush or Obama. Bush had a lot of very difficult things come up during his presidency that he handled as best as someone likely could do given the situations and Obama certainly didn't inherit an easy list of tasks. Just trying to sort out the facts here by saying that Bush took many, many more vacation days than Obama has. More than any U.S. President has.

Now that doesn't mean that I'm trying to defend Obama by any means, but it's awfully convenient to bash a Democratic President for doing something that the President for the party that you support did in excess. To be fair. And you know how I like "to be fair". ;)

first off the Iraq war served its purpose by ridding that country of a "MANIAC"!! YES we may have been there a little too long, but it worked. and 2- Bush's Katrina was MORE of a LOCAL problem where as all the F--KING RETARDS that ran that state said they had it under control for the first week or so. not to mention had AMPLE time to leave with a 3-DAY warning to get out!! BUSH finally got Katrina under control with all the local IDIOTS alot faster than OBUMMER and his complete lack of EVERYTHING when it comes to the oil spill. heck, there are MANY people, leaders and other countries that wanted to help OBUMMER and he counldnt even give them a timely answer!! WTF??????? and NONE of BUSHES decisions affected my life to the negotive where as O-DIPSH_Ts decisions have!! moral of the story, BUSH was good for us, and OBUMMER is not!! look at the polls too. the country has spoken!! and only took O-Dumba$$ 1-1/2 yrs to fail with the people!! just sayin...

Yes, the Iraq war ousted a horrible despot and it has been good for the people of Iraq but what exactly did it do for America? Was it a good decision for OUR country? Is it the oil? There are no WMDs, skeeter.

Katrina was absolutely a failure on the part of FEMA and on Bush. A natural disaster, though. BP's oil gusher is man-made and worse for the sitting president -- it isn't an American company that is responsible for the spill. Exactly what magic wand is he supposed to wave to make BP jump at his beck and call?

So all it boils down for you is "Bush made decisions that didn't affect me negatively and Obama makes decisions that somehow affect me so I don't like his policies"?

What about the thousands of American lives lost in 9/11 when there was intelligence beforehand that an attack was imminent? What about the thousands of dead American soldiers for a war that has done nothing to help secure American interests or increase security? What about the 1800 of Americans that died due to a complete "je ne sais pas" attitude of FEMA? Did Bush's decisions impact these Americans negatively?

I mean, no offense, but it sounds to me like your disapproval of Obama is more than a little bit self centered. I'd actually be curious to see where a McCain presidency would be at this point in time. Or Ron Paul.

The fact is CW, when Bush was excoriated by the Bush haters and anyone from the left, I as well as MOST of the BUSH supporters didnt keep going back to the age old "Well what about whatever Clinton did"!! it gets old after a while!! ive noticed EVERY TIME i post something negative about OBUMMER, you and alot like you seem to continuously bring up what BUSH did!! um NEWSFLASH, Bush HASNT been the POTUS for 1-1/2 yrs now!! why cant OBUMMER apologists just take their lumps when the F--KING IDIOT is called out for ANOTHER f--k Up?? JUST SAYIN... and by the way, under BUSH my life and family was not affected in any way. and under O-F-CKNUT, paying for ALL his LAMEA$$ lets give more free sh-t to losers will cost me more $$!! maybe thats why i HATE him?? not to mention if i was young enough and Bush needed me to serve in IRAQ i would have without hesitation and as far as New orleans, im not a moron and realize that that whole area is below sea level and per ALL THE EXPERTS would have flooded eventually. so it didnt take a genius not to live there, but an idiot to!! and i could care less about his ENTITLEMENT THEOLOGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

last but not least, doesnt a LEGAL AMERICAN TAX PAYING VOTING CITIZEN choose a candidate to vote for that will best benefit his or her family?? so again, WHY WOULD I VOTE FOR A CLOWN WHO WANTS TO GIVE MY TAX DOLLARS TO A BUNCH OF SLACKERS THAT DONT WANT TO WORK?????????????? if you call that self centered, than i guess 70% of this country is now self centered!! or maybe just maybe they dont want anymore of O-JACKA$$E$ SOCIALISM!! even the "Buyers Remorse" voters he had that have now realized thay made a horrible mistake believing his LIES!!

    CW,
vacation days are not relevent when it comes to a president. he takes his staff everywhere with him, still gets twice daily briefings and makes all of the same decisions he would as if he were in the White House.
There really is no "vacation" when you are th POTUS. There is plenty to bash Bush for, but vacations wont fly.

    TS,
While Bush did not renew the AW ban, he was (at very best) a mediocre president. He expanded govt as much as any president until the current idiot came into office.

Obama is a disgrace....Bush was a tad better but nothing to brag about.
