i don't blame myself for the damage others have done, i realize why people do not want anyone hunting on their property, it is usually accompanied with a story of someone going out and trashing the place, others worry about liabilty. I blame the 5%ers who don't care because they are just as likely to shoot a deer off the side of the road. I have always respected any property I have been allowed to hunt. As far as spending money for a hobby, any hunter has invested in his hobby for a rifle, bow, or some means of taking game, but many who have hunted most or all of their lives cannot afford 1500-2500 a year for a deer lease. I would gladly pay 5-600 for a full lease(deer, turkey, hogs) and even that is something i never would have imagined 10-15 yrs ago.
