I'll probably be going East, then again if the bug bites me and I am up for a 5.5 hour drive instead of a 3 hour one, I may go west; although, the odds are on East. My trip destination, and the trip itself, also depend on whether I can either find a sitter for my dog local to the event or a motel where I can stay that allows pooches for a minimal fee.

As for bringing things, I'll bring something or another that goes boom and some ammo, hopefully an abundance of that. I doubt I can fit a table into the Corolla with the dog along. Maybe can bring a couple of those nylon sports chairs.

    Some questions about the ranges:

Do both ranges have an area suitable to set up for refreshments and food?

Are there shaded areas at each one?

Are there facilities as in relief stations?

I guess my most important question is this:

Will any of Sterling's family be attending either one or both?

My house is within 100 yards.

Are there shaded areas at each one?

I have plenty of trees for shade. Also have an EZ UP of need be.

Are there facilities as in relief stations?

If #1 any tree as long as no ladies are around
If #2 my house is close

I guess my most important question is this:

Will any of Sterling's family be attending either one or both?

I have not contacted anyone. I only have his # . Maybe another member closer to his family could reach out. But i would say wait until after the 17th to contact them.

    Open for discussion.
I'm only going by what EZ-E and I discussed.
We both want it done in later September.
    That's historically decent climate.

    Hunting seasons are picking up.
We don't want to scare deer away in October.

    Among other reasons.
Fridays in September are an uncertain prospect for me. Although I usually only work 1/2 days on Fridays during the school year, things have come up in the past, so it would be hard to commit at this point.

The dates should be Saturdays.... the 17th or 24th is what I was thinking, but when talking to Vaquero I said the wrong dates.
