Same day would be nice, but not necessarily a requirement.
Either weekend works for the West group.
While I understand the spirit of having them the same day, I would suggest them opposing weekends.

Last minute plans would allow members to still attend the other event and some members may hit both.

    Just a thought.

Folks attending the east location: let me know if I need to bring extra chairs. I will help Eze with what I can. I’ll bring a cooler with water and soda.

I'm going to bring, at least 2 folding tables and 2 folding chairs.

There has been no mention of food or drinks.. Do we need to bring anything to eat and drink? If so, any ideas of what to bring?

I’m sure we will figure it out. I don’t mind covering the beverages. I can always get some hotdogs to throw on the grill. Why don’t I just do that? Cooler with drinks, hotdogs/buns, ketchup and mustard.

    Out here by the lake!
I was thinking of doing a brisket, but at $3.99 a lb, pork butt might be better on the wallet.
We should just wait a bit on food plans. This morning I hit the store nice and rearly for mark down meat I bought a shit load of ground beef & steaks. Last trip it was a bunch of Johnsonville Bratwurst. There are cetain things I will not buy on markdown, but plenty I will. I'm talking 65-75% off regular retail. I f I had more room currently I could have bought double the steak & ground beef. No I'm not scared to freeze it. I have always made my own patties & froze them, I doubt most of y'all be wonder whats up when the dinner bell has wrung your hungry & it's in front of you.

While I'll never be able to reproduce the chorizo & beef patties EZ-E served I think wh can eat better with better planing. Hell I could have bought a 1/2 case on smoked Boudin this morning.

That is a great idea. No better item to serve to honor Sterling than some Q.

I will smoke a brisket and bring it to Vaq's place. It likely won't be as good as his, but its the thought that counts.

I will defer to others to bring the sides.
