    Gunz are icky.
Hopefully Trump took the gloves off.
They want a war. Give them one.
    No more fvckin' around.
Turn the full fury and power of the U.S. military loose.
Scorch the earth. Bomb them back to the Stone Age.
    Oh wait......they're already there.

The Russians will not do anything because the Russians can't do anything. Russian military forces are weak and poorly supplied. They're a shadow of their Soviet era capabilities.
Russia isn't going to pop nukes over this.

Meh. Everything I've seen leads on that Russia was in the loop and shut down their missile defense as well as moved their shit out of the country before hand, only targets hit were related to the storage or manufacture of chemical weapons, and very few civillian casualties are expected if any.

At this early point it looks like a very measured response. Honestly I was expecting something more aggressive... Hopefully the message is received and we can move on... (wishful thinking)

    I haven't been following this.

Syrian government allegedly gassed Syrian rebels and the US government is going to attack the government?

    More or less.

They have been warned though. They did the same thing last year and we bombed their manufacturing facilities.

We need to just take them out this time and be done with it.

Or the weapons are inert until activated. I don't know much about chem weapons but modern nukes aren't nukes until they are activated. I'd assume the same with chemical weapons but then again we are talking about a country that has barely passed the 70s in development.

Weren't US forces about to pull out of the area before this incident happened? Why would Syria do something that would be used as justification to pull the US back in?

Power vaccumes are always a good thing in middle eastern nations.
    Good for who?

It seems like a lot of people are against the government when talking about gun control, but fully support them when it comes to starting wars.

The governenments job is war. Not gun control. It's only real purpose is to provide for the security of the nation.

To relate war to gun control is just silly. Now, if you were comparing big gov gun control to other gov regulations apllicable to the citizens you could make a valid point. In this case the question is simply whether or not this strike is justified in the interest of national security.
