I lived in CO for a few years, but that was over a decade ago and I have no idea what the laws are like now. I absolutely loved the mountains and wide open spaces. The cities in CO all pretty much suck, but you'll probably like Monument. If you could get rid of the dirty liberal cities and snow, I'd move back in a heartbeat.
