I do my best to support the little Spoetzel brewery in Shiner. Too bad theyre not a publicly traded company so I could buy some stock and atleast get some of my money back.

Although they're not actually made in Texas I'm still a big fan of MooreMaker knives out of Matador. Nothing like a high quality handmade folder with Texas stamped on the side. And, no one would even have a clue that they're not actually made in Texas if some doucher AR guy didn't tell them on an online forum.

I picked up a case of their premium earlier in the week and just got back from HEB and managed to have a case of Family Reunion jump in my basket.

The Valero oil co. is named for The Alamo, originally known as Mission San Antonio de Valero.

    100% Texan

I began boycotting Valero 3 years ago.
They dropped Natwel Gas supply in San Antonio for Airgas.

So tey may well be a Texas company, they certainly don't share the same sentiment as the rest of us.

Kind of like supporting Toyota as a Texas company because Tundras are built here.

Not at all. They just changed from one supplier to another. I would bet it was profit motive which I agree with. Corporations aren't welfare offices.
Do you expect every company based in Texas to use strictly products from Texas suppliers before they can be considered a "Texas Company" ?

But then again I'm a free market capitalist and own stock in this Texas company.

As long as it's a Texas based company, I'm good. They gotta be able to make a profit.
