Yeah, I think it kinda does matter what Mexico says because as I understood it, the agreement was for Mexico to house people there while their asylum claims were adjudicated here. If they are no longer willing to house them there (and I don't know why they would be, tbh), then those people will go somewhere, almost certainly crossing over to the US. I suppose Mexico would have the option of deporting them back to Guatemala or whatever but I doubt that's what happens.Does it matter what Mexico says? It really only matters that we tell them they can't come here until we're ready. We suggest you wait in Mexico. If Mexico says no then wait anywhere else but here.
